The Linssen 33.9 AC, with its large open cockpit. This is an excellent boat for two couples, and its easy handling makes it ideal for a crew of four. If you frequently have guests or family on board, then the AC version, with its spacious aft cabin, may be more suitable. In both versions, the genuine leather sofa can be converted into a double bed.

The two versions have other features in common: their slender exterior, shallow draft, and air draft of only 2.30 metres with the mast collapsed (13 centimetres more if you choose the Variodeck® option). The 399 is divided into a comfortably enclosed forward cabin with double bed and a separate sanitary core and toilet. The saloon has the helmsman’s position and an elegant cupboard area with covered pantry to port; opposite, to starboard, is a comfortable L-shaped sofa with deluxe table. A card table/desk and deluxe club seat are situated next to the sofa. Open the teakwood doors and you can walk directly from the spacious saloon to the large, open cockpit on the same level. And if you slide open the Linssen Variodeck® top, you’ll get an exhilarating feeling of being in the open air.

What is also unique for a boat in this category is the neat and spacious “cellar”. Many a boat owner dreams of having this kind of storage space. The huge hatch (with its convenient gas-pressure spring) provides access to a genuine “workshop” (complete with Heuer bench vice!), doubling as a storage cellar. The room is equipped with handy plastic containers for wine, mineral water and other provisions.

Only a simple operation is needed to convert the saloon settee into a comfortable double bed. By moving the seating element forward, a slatted base appears to place the back cushions on. There are no separate parts needed for the slat.
